CPA Candidate, means that complete certification has not been finalized but in process.
Jorge A. Lopez is an enrolled agent certified by the Internal Revenue Service to practice and represent taxpayers. He graduated from Florida International University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in the fields of Management and Marketing. He then wanted to broaden his expertise and skillset in the business world so he started his pursuit for a tax enrollment certification in 2022 from the IRS and passed the last of 3 examinations in August of 2023. That same month, he also began classes at FIU to pursue a second bachelors in order to qualify for CPA certification for the State of Florida, which requires a Bachelor’s of Accounting and at least 150 college credits. He is now eligible to sit for CPA examination and has been accepted to a International Tax Graduate Certificate program. He has been working in public accounting since 2023. Jorge plans to finalize CPA certification near the end of 2025.
